Andrew Block

Andrew is a Distinguished Architect at Red Hat and Open Source advocate. In his role at Red Hat, he partners with organizations globally in the design and implementation of cloud native solutions, with a focus in automation, CI/CD and security. He is also one of the leaders of Red Hat's Community of Practice program which brings together individuals with common interests to enable collaboration and the sharing of knowledge with others.

Andrew is an active member of the Open Source community where he serves several roles to share his passion with others. He is a maintainer of several Open Source projects including ORAS (OCI Registry As Storage) and Helm, a package manager for Kubernetes.

He has authored several publications related to the cloud native ecosystem including “Managing Kubernetes Resources Using Helm” and “Kubernetes Secrets Management” and frequently publishes articles to share his knowledge and experiences with others.
