Bio

Author of Connect, Build, Grow: How to Build Relationships and Grow Your Network, Ashley René is an expert in communication and interpersonal skills. As Owner of Be Bold and Speak, a communication and leadership coaching and consulting firm, Ashley René is committed to helping clients remove barriers so they can share their message more effectively.

Her professional experience as a leader at a Fortune 100 company, coupled with her personal experience as lead singer in a rock band has given her a unique perspective on communicating and connecting with others.

Although passionate about business and leadership, Ashley René also enjoys sharing her personal story of triumph. A teenage mom who beat the statistics, she uses her story to inspire others to see that no matter what hand they are dealt, their past does not define who they are or what they can be. To support this passion, she coaches women and speaks at conferences where she is able to share her story.

Ashley René resides in St Louis, Missouri with her two sons and their dog MC Mikey.

I found out I was pregnant my senior year of high school, 3 days before my father died. Experiencing two life changing events at such a young age and all in one year taught me that we have a choice in how we respond when times are tough.
