Bill Ulivieri started his career in 1980 as a runner at the Chicago Board of Trade. He quickly left the soybean pit and became a market-maker pit trader at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) trading equity and index options until 1998.
From 1998 to 2010, he was a successful risk manager and upstairs trader overseeing a group of “market maker” option specialist groups across seven U.S. option exchanges.
Bill received his Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst™ designation in 2006 from FI360, the Center for Fiduciary Studies.
His article “The Future of Retirement Investing” was featured in the prestigious Journal of Financial Planning in 2009.
His fiercely independent investment experience is shared with a diverse audience on “Business First” with Angela Miles, The Hannah and Fred Show, Catholic talk Relevant Radio and the WBBM “Noon Business Hour” discussing philanthropy and Blockchain technology.
In September 2021, Bill was nominated and awarded the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for Innovation by the prestigious Daily Herald Business Ledger.
Bill has been featured on the 'More Than Money' podcast at Georgetown University and has been an active Board Member of his local Chamber of Commerce. He is a frequent contributor to the WBBM Noon Business Hour, Relevant Radio, and The Crypto Rundown.
Bill is “Bridging the Gap Between Traditional Investing and Digital Assets” as owner and managing director of Cenacle Capital Management, LLC, a state registered investment advisor, incorporating Exchange Traded Funds and cryptocurrencies to client portfolios.
He currently is the sole creator of The Blockchain Advisor™ podcast and newsletter focusing on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Coinbase Global and Grayscale Investment products.
