Effective event-driven architecture patterns, constructs and practices on GCP

Connecting event producers and consumers provides many benefits, but also creates room for discussions on topics like guaranteed/exactly one deliveries, contract-driven development, schema discovery and integration, ordering of messages, event lifecycle management, transaction support and so on.
In GCP there are serverless components such as Eventarc, PubSub, Workflow, Apigee, etc to build composite service constructs for event-driven solutions.
In this session we will look at some core design patterns, event processing taxonomy, concepts and then present some best practices.
We'll review some service contstructs in GCP which implement these patterns. We'll illustrate the usage of these constructs in real use cases and look into potential trade-offs when selecting a particular solution.
We'll cover how to work with event schemas/contracts in the organization and also cover some tenets and best practices dev teams could use to enhance colloboration and shorten time-to-market.

Boost your security and resiliency in Kubernetes

Enterprise systems are as secure as their resilience to system glitches and human error. Even external attacks do not succeed so much due to the superiority or ingenuity of the attacker, rather than due to the inherent imperfections of our systems. Deployment of distributed technologies like Kubernetes in organizations fall short with respect to security. A pragmatic methodology is required, whereby chaos engineering principles are extended to security. In this session we will be discussing about patterns, best practices on how to continuously approach defense from inherent security flaws in software.

Using AWS CDK and Step Functions to automate and orchestrate workflows in AWS

Workflow orchestration with CDK and Step Functions is a developer-friendly and efficient way to build and automate your business processes on AWS using your favorite programming languages. In this project we build the process orchestration layer, construct the necessary AWS services and develop the code containing the business logic all in the same code base.
