Bio

Henry was raised in Ojai, California. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from Stony Brook University in New York, USA, followed by a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development (with a focus in Renewable Energy) from Stellenbosch University, in South Africa. An avid lover of travel and science, he has accounts in both unsustainable and sustainable development in 40 countries to date. Henry has incorporated his formal and informal educational experiences into a unique perspicacity of the world focused largely on sustainability, international development, energy, and communication. Henry is in motion to further his education and broaden his mind by currently pursuing a Ph.D, taking concepts from his Master’s dissertation and applying them to studying the world’s oceans. He has given talks on the global problem of plastics and ocean conservation, he's authored a book on the hidden social and economic costs of plastics, he's the director of a non-profit which produces international broadcasts on global issues, and currently works as an Environmental Scientist for a local environmental consulting firm in Ojai.
