Henry Yampolsky is a mediator, collaborative lawyer and conflict coach, passionate about holding space for people in conflict.
After serving as an associate and then a partner with one of Philadelphia’s leading litigation boutique law firms, Henry founded Yampolsky Law, P.C. – Conflict Transformed, a holistic law firm focused on mindful practices of Mediation, Collaborative Law, Family Law and Labor and Employment Law.
Henry is also the co-creator of the Living Peace Institute, which offers trainings, consulting and coaching in Mindful Mediation, Dis-Solving Conflict from Within, Compassionate Communications, and other conflict resolution methods.
An International Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Instructor (E-RYT 200), trained in Rishikesh, India, Henry utilizes the techniques and wisdom of yoga in his conflict resolution practice.
Henry is a sought-after speaker, facilitator and workshop leader and has presented programs on Mindfulness, Non-Violent Communications, Restorative Justice, Mediation and Client Empowerment in the practices of Mediation and Collaborative Law.
Through his affiliation with the New York Peace Institute, Henry serves as a Community Mediator, Restorative Justice Facilitator, and Conflict Coach. Henry is also one of the coaches for the Peace Institute’s Basic Meditation Training (BMT) and a mentor in the Institute’s apprenticeship program. Henry has taught mediation and conflict de-escalation skills to the members of the New York Police Department, senior UN diplomats, and legal practice groups.
Henry holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Studies from the University of Scranton and a Juris Doctorate from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and in New Jersey, and for six years in a row has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star.
Having been born in Kiev, Ukraine, Henry is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
