Horacio Maldonado

Horacio Maldonado is a native of San Benito, Texas. He received his AA in General Studies from the Columbia College, BA in Business Management from Ashford University, MBA in Organizational Leadership, and currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program focused on Leadership, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.

Horacio Maldonado is a Leadership keynote speaker, Leadership coach and trainer, Motivational Speaker, and Youth Development Trainer. He is considered the leading authority on transforming leadership mindsets within organizations. Motivated by the principals of Empower Enhance and Enrich one individual at a time. In this role, Horacio provides quality impacting leadership and management training, designed to empower small and large businesses to increase teamwork, productivity, and consistency. Mr. Maldonado currently serves as Founder and CEO of OnPoint Professional Services.

Before starting his business, Horacio served honorably for 24 years as a Weapons and Security Manager, Senior Enlisted Leader, and Safety and Security Manager for the Munitions facility. Served two overseas tours, upon retirement in 2013, he assumed the position of Site Manager for Family Endeavors, where he served veterans at risk of being homeless. In 2016, he founded Heroes Haven Veteran Services, a veteran non-profit organization that assists veterans. In 2015 he assumed the position Career Advisor for Texas Veterans Commission Member, helping disabled veterans with meaningful employment. President Rotary of Willacy County, Business Leadership Chair, and Brownsville Toast Masters.
