Jeremy began his career in public service over 30 years ago as an enlisted man in the U.S. Navy. He graduated Navy SEAL training and spent five years at SEAL Team ONE and another three at SEAL training as a Combat Diving instructor. While serving as a SEAL Instructor, Jeremy earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and was accepted and commissioned into the U.S. Air Force. While in the Air Force, he managed multi-million dollar classified and unclassified programs and taught leadership to Air Force Officers. Jeremy has the distinction of creating and managing the United States Special Operations Command’s first-ever tactical vehicle program; the Family of Special Operations Vehicles. This umbrella program, comprised of 10 individual programs of record, over 3,000 vehicles, and a $300-million-dollar annual budget, procures, modifies, fields, and sustains every vehicle used by the over 70,000 U.S. Special Operations Forces. Jeremy earned his Master’s in Business Administration prior to retiring from the Air Force in 2008 at the rank of Major. Immediately upon retirement, Jeremy held positions in the private sector managing materiel programs and advising and assisting the government as a Defense Contractor.
In 2012, he decided to follow his life-long dream of becoming a Law Enforcement Officer and began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in 2013. Jeremy’s held positions as a Patrol Deputy, General and Major Crimes Investigator, Patrol and District Sergeant, Lieutenant of Judicial Services, as well as an Assistant Team Leader on the agency’s Special Response Team (SWAT).
In 2021, Jeremy temporarily departed law enforcement and served as the Executive Director for Village Caregiving’s Bowling Green and Paducah, Kentucky locations. Village Caregiving is the nation’s largest privately-held, home healthcare company. He returned to his true calling of law enforcement in 2022.
