KRISTIE F. GAUTHREAUX is a Communications and Mindset Coach who uses creative writing and communication strategies as tools to help women birth triumph and victory over their trauma. She is a Christian pacesetter in the spiritual world of mental health. Her wisdom, knowledge, and leadership skills came through grad school (Creative Writing Master of Fine Arts Program), undergrad in Education (Bachelor in Educational Studies), being coached and mentored by the great Les Brown as a speaker, certification as Clinical Trauma Specialist, a diploma in Ministerial Studies, and Operations Specialists-Navy Veteran. She is also a former public and private school teacher who became skilled in planning, organization, strategy, and methodology development, covering life skills development, career readiness, and social-emotional workshops based on fixed mindset versus growth mindset.
Her life's journey has taken her through many doors and allowed her to sit at great tables in her professional and personal life. Kristie believes writing to share her stories in ways that depict triumph enabled her to bring others along. Her research and experience in the areas of mental health (anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder), mindfulness and meditation (how it connects to neuroscience), and social-emotional learning are what prompted her to create a course and workbook titled 'Put That Shhhh In A Book-How To Tell Your Story Without Telling Your Business.'
Kristie is bold. She is not afraid to use her story as a guide to help other women overcome their identity challenges as she did. She overcame childhood bullying, lesbianism, abandonment, mental unhealth like anxiety and depression, people-pleasing, and the fear of failure. Her ability to stand on her story is what catapults God's message of grace and generosity through her books, courses, workshops, and retreats. Her testimony of transformation is an inspiration and encouragement to young women worldwide. As an ordained minister, book writing consultant, and mindset coach, Kristie has several opportunities to instill bravery in women fearful of sharing their stories.
She desires to teach women to tell their stories, talk about the triumph, and communicate through creative writing. She believes that they can receive transformation, uncover intentional life, and deliver their gifts to the world through writing, creating books, podcasting, blogs, speaking, and other ways to reach people waiting on deliverance. Kristie says, "If you want to change, that's a good start. But be brave enough to do what it takes to make the change and be prepared to take your mask off in front of others. Don't save face because the face that matters is the one God sees first."
