My mission is to raise awareness on the connection of the design thinking with the business model innovation. My purpose is to design the constructive strategies within the economy, with public and other civic organizations.
As an independent researcher, I successfully defended two master thesis’, one in anthropology of everyday life and the other in business administration. I've been a speaker at different trade and design organizations, international scientific conferences with a wide range of topics covered, including design strategies and economy, cross-media publishing, and not least business [sustainable] innovation. I'm perceived as a skilled presenter with strong presence, have multi-language abilities (Slovene, German, English and Serbo-Croation) and multi-cultural experiences. Past audiences include design, industry and trade associations, government and diplomatic organizations, and recently also scientific community.
I'm a business design consultant with experience in strategy development and business planning, financial management and not least the EU grants on business model innovation calls. I recently founded a research institute dŠola Ljutomer, where I serve as the support partner of the Design for Europe (initially European Design Innovation Platform).
