I began in the U.S. Army as a communications technician and a radio teletype operator. I then moved on to corporate America, working for more than twenty years for AT&T as both an engineer, and also a manager, supervising a large technical staff
I now serve as the lead pastor of a local church. Having pastored for 14 years has given me the opportunity to serve people through counseling, leading, speaking, and listening. Being a lead pastor has given me a unique perspective on solving people problems, dealing with issues from relationships to social issues, and helping people find their life purpose.
The greatest love for me, though, was being a substitute teacher for middle and high school. This path led me to be an author of 3 books. The latest, “I See You”, focuses on how the perception of oneself and of others is the greatest influence on a person’s life path.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Indiana Wesleyan University with degrees in Business Science and Religious Studies. I love music and sports. I have been married to my wife Detra for more than 22 years, and we have 5 children; 4 girls and 1 boy.
(Expert Positioning Statement)
