“Our chief want in life is somebody who will make us do what we can.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
Often we need an objective and supportive voice to uncover our potential. Mitch lives to be that voice. He works tirelessly to bring out the best in leaders and helps them build inspiring, enduring organizations. To his work with a range of clients (public, private, and not-for-profit), Mitch brings wisdom wrought from providing visionary/executive leadership, leader development, and counseling to a large church for 18 years. In this capacity, he also brokered unlikely public/private partnerships to benefit his city. Mitch knows the challenge and the beauty of bringing diverse perspectives together for a common goal and he is skilled at preparing wise, confident leaders to lead the way. An expert story-teller, Mitch is valued for his ability to inspire and mobilize people in a variety of contexts; from instructing small groups to providing keynote messages for thousands.
Active in the development of his adopted hometown, Fort Collins, Mitch has lead initiatives to strengthen neighborhoods and care for those experiencing homelessness while serving on a variety of boards including the Governor’s Clergy Council, the Colorado State Stadium Advisory Group, and the Coloradoan Newspaper.
While energized by these things, it is the experience of created beauty with his wife and four children that remain Mitch’s primary joy. You will often find him with them, marveling at something and smiling.
