Samantha has been shot at, kidnapped, left alone on a minefield and negotiated with rebels in simulation exercises for her former job.
In real life she helped hundreds of people from trivial to difficult situations while abroad (evacuations in Katmandu, repatriation from Haiti, loss of papers and life in several central American countries, hospitalizations, mental instability in Serbia and Costa Rica, illegal entry to Paraguay, grounded tourist in Soundi Arabia, stranded travelers in Bolivia, prevented a suicide in Belgrade, and many more adventures).
On her own adventures she had the unique "skill" to get lost in a jungle not once, but 3 times! She ate a rat with wings (a.k.a a pigeon), and unidentified food in Thailand. Rode sand dunes in Peru, swam with hammerhead sharks in the Galapagos, hiked thousands of miles and went on a pilgrimage on Compostela Way.
Most importantly she has had decades to hone her abilities to manage complicated situations and build resilience to stress, through mindfulness techniques and here naturally serene demeanor.
Samantha is now a personal development coach & trainer and founded SatiHouse to help people maximize their potential sustainably and organically through mindfulness-based trainings.
She combines the art and science of mindfulness in powerful tools to facilitate transformational change through the awareness that choices are always available.
She lived and worked in almost 20 countries and traveled to over 70 while developing a high intercultural sensibility and openness. She speakss several languages with diplomatic flair as she represented Switzerland as a Vice-Consul for over 13 years.
Her decennial spiritual and holistic development inspired patience, empathy, and serenity. Her volunteering reinforced her resilience to stress and courage in life so that she can continue to help others to transform into who they genuinely are.
She firmly believes that mindfulness helps anchor our lives in The Golden Moment of Now, without the worries and shackles of the past and anxiety of a possible future.
That by changing the vantage point from which we perceive life, we can create a powerful paradigm shift in the present, increase our resilience to stress and shape our freedom.
Moreover, together, like a ripple effect in a serene pond, we can nudge change in ourselves and the people around us. You are not alone!
