Sarah is a native to Rochester NY with a passion for medicine and helping others. She is a Board Certified Physician Assistant with a double major Bachelors of Science and Psychology from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2003. Sarah went on to obtain her Masters degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has practiced clinical medicine for 20 years in various settings including with the Department of Defense on a nuclear submarine base and the Department of Veterans Affairs. She cared for a panel of 500 patients at Ridgeview Internal Medicine Group for 8 years. Sarah has served as an expert witness for a medical malpractice case and practiced legal medicine as an Independent Medical Examiner for Veterans disability and benefits. She was a Medical Examiner for the Department of Health at Covid vaccination centers, staff education, training and onboarding in her role as Staff Development Specialist and passed the Certified Clinical Researcher Coordinator examination. She served as Director of Community Research Partnerships with Rochester Clinical Research. She has participated as a Sub Investigator in nearly 100 clinical research trials, phases I-IV, for vaccines, devices and therapeutics. She has worked on the Pfizer, Moderna, J&J and other Covid vaccine clinical trials. She is experienced in GCP/HSP Informed Consent, AE/SAE/IRB reporting, Reg documents, QA, SOPS, CAPA, EDC and public speaking.
One of Sarah's most passionate roles has been as a Medical Liaison for Hereditary Cancer Genetic Testing. In this role she spoke and presented to KOLs regarding implementation of programs within their clinical setting. She is comfortable working with small intimate groups and practices, professional dinner presentations, virtual events and community events.
Sarah has been featured twice in the Western NY Physician's Magazine, The Medicine Couch, Empowered PA's and numerous news channel interviews. She has presented for RIT's Annual Innovations in Global Health Conference, the Rochester Regional Physician Assistant Association Conference, Two different hereditary cancer genetic testing companies and the Farmington Chamber of Commerce annual dinner.
Sarah is an autonomous and well rounded 20 year experienced clinician, researcher, trainer, speaker, consultant and director level Physician Assistant. She welcomes opportunities to share her expertise.
