Chief Technologist (FSI)
Vincent is the Chief Technologist for the Financial Services Industry business at Red Hat looking after the Asia Pacific region. In this role he is primarily responsible for supporting Financial Services customers in defining their digital transformation roadmap and underlying technology delivery strategy, while leveraging Red Hat thought-leadership and engineering capability in the implementation of open standards, open source and open architecture on their journey.
Vincent’s experience in the FSI sector as a business and digital transformation leader, with a proven track record for leading ambitious business and technology transformation roadmaps and leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex strategic delivery programs within Treasury, Capital Markets and Private Banking environments, is helping customers to address the challenges of evolving from legacy technologies to support increasingly complex and dynamic business environments. In this he is able to rely and share from a very diverse exposure from 11+ years in the banking sector shaping target architecture and technology roadmaps, driving talented engineering teams to build, integrating and operating business-critical technology platforms, as well as 8+ years in the financial technology sector building software on cutting-edge technology, with an award-winning track record for delivery of cloud-based innovative software solutions.
Vincent is passionate in helping Financial Services Industry customers and partners to create better technology the open source way, with particular technical focus on event-driven architecture, real-time data pipelines and micro-services architecture and design patterns.
Vincent holds a Master of Science in Management (majoring in Information Systems Management) at HEC Paris.
