Adrienne Michelle is a a black queer femme Marriage and Family Therapist who works primarily with LGBTQ+ or QTPOC individuals, couples, and families to help them build and better their lives and relationships. She has always had a passion for helping others and graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a plan to do just that. In addition, she has been a facilitator and counselor for the majority of her life, starting in college when she began developing diverse and inclusive sex education programs in New Jersey and Maryland working with LGBTQ+ counseling organizations.
Since becoming a systemic therapist, she has realized that helping people on an individual level is only a part of her passion. She is also focused on creating better systems of practice whether it be with clients, couples, families or, agencies, healthcare providers or companies. Her idea of a healthy self includes having a personal and professional balance. As one of very few queer, black, femme, therapists she is focused on happiness and authenticity of self. Aside from therapy and speaking; she loves cooking and being a dog mom which you can keep up with on her ig @adriennemichelletherapy.
