Ahsan Jamal has over 14 years of experience in payments, cards and digital services industry, primarily in Pakistan. Following his work in payment technologies for TPS Pakistan and implementing several international projects, Ahsan moved to Faysal Bank where he was leading the team that launched several cards and payments products. He successfully manage the consolidation and transition of card and payment platform after acquisition of RBS Pakistan by Faysal Bank ensuring smooth and seamless experience for customers. During his short stint at Samba Bank, he helped migration of acquired CresBank’s payment services to Samba’s global platform. Ahsan joined a startup Wemsol Private Limited in 2013 and headed Product, Operations and Technology for Pakistan office. At Wemsol, Ahsan helped the company to setup key departments and spearheaded launch of branded merchant payment network offering various innovative services such as contactless payments, card scheme payments, mobile payments and loyalty program.
Ahsan is currently Head of Digital Financial Services at National Institutional Faciliation Technologies where he is responsible to create inclusive, interconnected and shared Payment System Infrastructure for effective and efficient delivery of Digital Financial Services in Pakistan.
He has conducted several training and workshops including:
- Digital Financial Services Ideation Workshop (Organized for Karandaaz and it's ecosystem partners in telecoms, banking and public sector)
- Training on E-Commerce – Strategy, Implementation & Best Practice (Training session for Banking Executives organized by Dellsons)
