Dr Ailis Brosnan is passionate about achieving optimal health as a means to leading a full enjoyable life, and her holistic, effective approach has brought amazing results to numerous women. She is an engaging and informative speaker and loves to inspire others through her talks.
Having lived and travelled in India, the Middle East, Africa, South America, Europe, the UK and the USA, she has explored a myriad of approaches to health and well-being. Over the years she recognised the need for an integrated model of health which values the importance of creating health on all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Ailis is passionate about helping others and blends latest research with a holistic approach to create an original and effective approach to improving your health through talks, 1-1 coaching and online programs. Her business is the culmination of her 30 years’ experience in health and fitness.
Dr. Brosnan is an advocate of plant-based, nutrient-dense diets and has been vegan for over 25 years, Ailis is also an enthusiastic exerciser and has completed an Ironman Triathlon (3.8km swim, 180km bike and a marathon), ultramarathons, cycled from one end of Ireland to the other and run up and down Ireland’s highest mountain. She also values the importance of a mindful, spiritual practice.
She holds a first class honours degree in Exercise Science from DeMontfort University in the UK. She also has a Master’s degree in Health Promotion and Wellness Management, which she completed in the USA (graduated with highest honours). Her third degree is a Professional Doctorate degree in Health Sciences (Psychology). She is also certified in Plant Based Nutrition.
Ailis lives in Ireland with her two children. In her spare time, she enjoys being active in the outdoors with her family and experimenting in the kitchen!
