I bring together research, historical context, political analysis, and a personal connection to Lebanon to help audiences understand the country and the wider Middle East beyond headlines. As a Lebanese author, researcher, and political writer with family roots in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon, I approach Lebanese and Middle Eastern affairs from both an analytical and lived perspective. My work examines Lebanese politics, political institutions, southern Lebanon, Jabal Amel, identity, sovereignty, history, and regional affairs. I am the author of Lebanon: A Chronicle of Resilience and Nabih Berri: The Southern Force in the Lebanese State. My books are held in university library collections, including the University of Michigan and Harvard University's Widener Library. Whether discussing Lebanese politics, the history and politics of southern Lebanon, political representation, identity, or broader Middle Eastern affairs, my goal is to make complex subjects understandable without removing the history and context necessary to understand them.
