Amervis Lopez-Cobb

Amervis López Cobb, MBA, PMP is the founder of Amervis & Associates, a speaking, training and consulting firm focused on strategy and tactics to help women and people of diverse backgrounds achieve leadership success. She started her career as a call center representative and worked her way through Corporate America to Vice President. She has 20+ years of management and leadership experience at major corporations such as Blue Cross, MGM Resorts International, and International Game Technology, where she led global teams. In support of her professional goals, she earned an MBA in strategic management and the PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. She is also an advocate for diversity and inclusion in tech. Originally from Philly, she now resides in fabulous Las Vegas, NV. When she is not enjoying quality time with family and friends, she is reading, sharing lessons learned on her breaking badlands.com blog and authoring her first book, one in a series of many aimed at those who have faced similar challenges and want to learn new ways to navigate personal growth.
