As an education student, I saw the flaws in education as a system. Teachers needed a stronger voice, and the only way to change the system and provide that voice was from a higher level. Immediately after graduating with my Undergrad, I began my Graduate studies with organizational administration with profit & non-profit organizations. After a semester I enrolled in a Doctoral program to earn my PhD in Higher Education Administration & Educational Leadership.
I am now a published researcher focusing on non-traditional student populations and training administrators in the educational field. I am also part of a national non-profit that provides services and grants to families across the country.
My goal is to be a voice as an educator that has experience in the current teaching atmosphere, and to aid the education system from the inside out.
