Bio

Amy J. Keely’s is an award-winning Marketer, CEO & Professor whose information packed workshops, seminars & master classes have provided help entrepreneurs and business professionals expand their knowledge to identify areas of growth.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Michigan, a Master in Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) and she attended an International Study Program at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. Amy is now a PhD candidate and writing a book to help businesses avoid the catastrophic failure rates as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor and Small Business Administration.

Amy's mother was the first female Engineer at General Motors and her father was a successful Entrepreneur. Amy ran concession stands starting at eight (8) years old and she shares her 20+ years of business experience (working for small businesses as well as billion dollar global corporations) and educational experiences by teaching college courses and participating in business workshops in the following disciplines: Management, Business Law, Marketing (Advertising, Public Relations, Sales, Customer Service), Human Resources, English, Communications, Photography & in a Fashion Merchandising Program (Consumer Behavior, Visual Merchandising, Import/Export Taxation, Inventory & Stock Control, Forecasting, etc.). Utilizing the right communication channel(s) is necessary and must be used by Entrepreneurs (starting a business), Management (leading employees and processes), Marketing Campaigns (attracting and retaining customers), to Human Resources departments. Regardless of the topic, or the industry, Amy Keely emphasizes the importance of effective communication by understanding the layers of complexity to increase success rates. This includes written, verbal and non-verbal communication.

Communication, both professionally and personally, is the single most important concept to master. If done well you can inspire, but if handled poorly, it can be the single biggest cause of misunderstanding that can lead to the loss of productivity or a key relationship. She discusses her knowledge of "Change Management" issues that can slow down or destroy companies.

She is also able to inspire and motivate people, personally and professionally, by helping them see their value. Like she helps companies build brands, she helps people build their "Brand Me" that help them in the corporate world. Amy's master classes are full of case studies and activities to help people learn by doing - not learn in theory only. It is her students that stay in touch, that give her the confidence that she's making a difference.
