Andhyta is an MPP candidate at Harvard Kennedy School, focusing on policies at the intersection of environmental sustainability and human well-being. Previously, she led the Climate Program at World Resources Institute Indonesia, working with the government and civil society organizations to promote climate action in the land and energy sectors. At 17, she co-founded a volunteer-based organization Indonesian Future Leaders and later became the Chairwoman of its flagship project Youth Parliament Indonesia, a national political education movement that has reached out to almost 20,000 Indonesian young voters. In 2013, she was selected as the Head of State for Indonesia to the Y20 Summit where she advocated youth solutions on global problems to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Andhyta also holds a BA in International Relations from University of Indonesia. In her free time, she writes social commentaries through national media, her blog, and spoken word.
