Angela has unique perspective when evaluating security operations due to her dynamic background in supporting global intelligence operations. Her experience lends understanding on how social engineering and data exploitation can be used for nefarious endeavors by hacktivists, criminals, and national actors.
Today, she designs high-impact security programs by leveraging her understanding of world events, to anticipate threats and provide actionable risk mitigation.
Prior to joining NuWave in 2019, Angela ran a technology start-up specializing in cybersecurity forensics and Microsoft optimization. She is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and was a military intelligence analyst and contractor to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
From 2003-2015, she worked counterterrorism and global intelligence operations in Afghanistan-Pakistan, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and North Korea. Her work included hunting deadly terrorists, lethal terror entities, and recruiting for human intelligence (HUMINT) operations.
