As Image Lead at Google, Anna Dickson’s focus is to create compelling user experiences with visual media.
Her goal is to bring high quality, relevant imagery to products by managing a team of imagery experts that work closely alongside product teams to develop scalable strategies around image understanding and usage.
Prior to Google, Dickson led photography teams at The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal and IHeartRadio. At each position, she collaborated with product teams to build infrastructures that supports direct access to imagery, allowing for faster deployment of content.
Dickson’s interests lie in the changing visual media landscape, our understanding of imagery, how we organize it, and how we utilize it to communicate worldwide.
