Affectionately known as "Bile", he is by-far South Africa's most unpopular POPULAR high school speaker who speaks on highly controversial issues. Having won his first Gold at Eisteddfod at the age of 9, his love for public speaking grew, making him better and better at the sport.
He is the current Executive Junior Mayor for the City of Johannesburg, where he is leading a Junior Executive of 6 Junior MMCs, a Junior Chief Whip and a Junior Chair of Chairs. He’s known for his quiet glares when analysing a space and reading a room. He is an inspirational, motivational, topical and extemporaneous speaker, having placed at Gold and Platinum levels in all those categories. His keynotes include “Thinking and Living like a Tree”, “We should all think like Mandela” and “Lessons my mother continues to teach me”. In 2021 alone, he’s Platinumed The South African Literacy Association Championships both at regional and National levels, placing him as the youngest finalist in the competition by far. He’s also junior champion of the ConHill Madiba’s Young Speakers Mandela Day National Speech Competition. He double platinumed the National public speaking championships, led through the “What Am I In IT” International NGO. He was recently invited by the Speaker of the City of Johannesburg to the Young Men’s Conference where he called for action by government to host more Young Men’s events. He was also invited by Deputy President David Mabuza to the Launch of the SABC’s Breaking The Silence in partnership with the Department of Basic Education to give a keynote on learners’ views regarding Comprehensive Sexuality Education.
A CIA-Premium Certified Speaker, this young man has competed on global stages, including Tanzania and the United States of America. He is the ONLY keynote speaker that is high-school attending in South Africa, as he is extremely extemporaneous and knowledgeable; when he’s not inspiring us through speech, he’s shooting hoops with his Basketball Teams.
In December of 2021, this young man scooped the Trophy of Africa’s Public Speaking Champion in Zanzibar, Tanzania at the Competition African Speech Championships -Zanzibar Open, and in 2022, he will be giving a Keynote at the Constitution Hill’s Constitution Hill’s Human Rights Dialogues on Racism, Refugees and Migration, and Gender-Based Violence, hosted by the United Nations Office of the Human Rights Commission, and the Department of Basic Education's Commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child.
