I’m one of those rare breeds of engineers who has infiltrated the marketing sector. I’ve harnessed the know-how of a range of roles to co-found Indorse - an advanced skill assessment platform that is simplifying tech recruitment.
Infusing my engineering and IT background, with my love of evolving ideas into marketplace products, I’ve helped global businesses to connect the technical with the creative. More than just crafting a message, it’s about selecting the right technology, overseeing the implementation and designing processes that turn leads into sales.
My consultancy life led me to Indorse – a platform that is built to overcome the challenges faced by global business and keep pace with the hassle of a start-up. We’re trusted by global banking institutions, multinational companies and some of the largest funded tech startups in Asia.
That’s when the light bulb moment came - today’s marketing is about constant improvement and efficiency, and engineering is no different. It goes to show just how flawed our traditional education system is. Degrees don’t prove someone has skills - they prove they attended.
The inconvenient truth is we are in the middle of a perfect storm, with a range of drivers and enablers converging, success today calls for far more than a piece of paper to validate.
This is why I’m proud Indorse was born. Together with cutting-edge technology, real-life experts and a diverse global team, we found the algorithm for fixing the skills gap.
