Grassroots Innovation in Malaysia
The fascinating field of grassroots innovation, particularly how it was first developed in Malaysia with the introduction of the Jejak Inovasi or Innovation Walk programme. This covered the entire nation looking for and documenting innovations developed by the grassroots communities. Organizations and even countries can learn how grassroot communities with very little in terms of resources and education, can come up with amazing innovations to improve the daily lives of their members. What it takes to be innovative.
You CAN be INNOVATIVE! Lessons from the Grassroots.
Experts always talk about the need to be innovative, to think outside the box, and to find creative solutions. But how do you do it? How do you become INNOVATIVE? This workshop will give hands on, valuable and more importantly actionable gems that the participants can take back and immediately use to become more innovative and creative. Numerous case studies, particularly involving grassroots communities that no one thought could be innovative, will be presented to participants, to glean lessons learnt, as well as motivate them to become more innovative. After all if people with no resources and no education can come up with amazing innovations, then anyone can! These are NOT generic case studies taken from books, but actual cases that Aziph has personally worked on.
