Bernard Kahn is an abstract artist who was born in New York City and attended the Art Students League of New York, graduating from High School there as well. After attending City University of New York for his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, he founded HASC (Hebrew Artists Social Community), which is a place where artists can connect with each other to share their experiences and find potential opportunities to come together for creative activities like painting outdoors.
Bernard has received many awards from his peers for the work he's accomplished over the years. He was honored with an Honor Award from National Society of Painters, and was awarded a Commendation from New York City Council and Art Alliance of Greater New York as well. His paintings are highly appreciated by his peers, but they may not be as publicly known as he likes to be.
Bernard Kahn is an artist who has been painting since childhood and uses this technique to make his paintings rich with color. As seen in the artwork, he does not enjoy being compared to others or comparing his work against what other people create. He loves painting because it can take him out of this crazy world we live in!
