Beverly spent over 10 years in senior level corporate positions. In 1995, she co-founded her own consulting firm, The Collaborative. The Collaborative provides business building support primarily to financial services and technology firms. In 2008, she and her partner founded a sister firm, Advisors Trusted Advisor to meet the specific needs of financial advisors.
Her book, Understanding Other People: The Five Secrets to Human Behavior, released in 2009, won the gold award from Readers Favorite for best new book on relationships. She also authored “The 7 Steps to Effective Business Building for Financial Advisors which was selected by the Financial Planning Association to make available to their members. She created the S.H.I.F.T. Model ™ which is taught in colleges and used by both individuals and businesses to reach their goals. Her newest book is due out in July of 2011.
Beverly is a professor at Suffolk University teaching Small Business Management, Leadership and Social Responsibility Organizational Behavior and Dealing with Difficult People. Bev holds a BSBA and an MBA from Suffolk University.
Bev is frequently interviewed on radio and television on her work with human behavior and communications.
