Emerging technologies like augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) have the potential to revolutionize the way deaf people communicate and experience the world. For example, AR Glasses can translate speech into captions or provide a virtual interpreter inside the glasses, and VR can be used to create immersive training experiences for deaf people. In addition to AR and VR, there are a number of other emerging technologies that have the potential to benefit deaf people, such as on-demand interpreting services. Future capabilities: English to ASL (spoken, typed) and soon, sign language to text/voice.
