Chris Faulknor was born in Boyne City, Michigan. He has been in EMS since 2006, a Paramedic since 2008, and earned his degree in EMS Administration from Columbia Southern University in 2020.
While Faulknor is, by trade, a Paramedic and EMS Educator who has taught ambulance service leadership and management to hundreds of students nationally, it's not the war stories from working the night shift that give him his passion.
Faulknor has a passion for taking the life experiences of himself and those he speaks to and culminating them into a whirlwind of resources for his students to draw on. He ran a newspaper for a decade, and so his students learn crafty ways to relate to the media. He was a Realtor, and so negotiation skills are at the top. His time spent playing camp counselor allow him to help his students recognize mental health issues in their fellow providers, but it's not just his experiences, it's theirs.
He learns about the experiences of those in the room with him and quickly melds them into his presentation to determine what value they add to the group, and before you know it, everyone in the room leaves feeling that they've learned, but also feeling like they've taught the world something from their life as well.
