Cynthia L. Guy is a native of New Castle, Delaware and completed her education in the Colonial School district. Later, Cynthia attended Lincoln University, located in Lincoln University PA. While attending Lincoln University, Cynthia became a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Cynthia graduated with a B.S. in psychology after completing a research internship at John Hopkins University School of Nursing, located in Baltimore MD in 2000. Afterwards, Cynthia furthered her education by obtaining her Masters of Counseling Degree from Wilmington University in 2003. Cynthia has a wealth of knowledge and expertise working in the mental health field. Cynthia has worked with adults and children providing family counseling, individual counseling as well as facilitating support groups in the Tri State area. Moreover, Cynthia worked as a Director of Mental Health Group Homes and Supportive Housing programs as well as worked at UHS Rockford Center as an Assessment and Referral Counselor for over 12 years. Cynthia’s motto is a healthy mind equals a healthy body and a healthy body equals a healthy mind. Adopting this motto Cynthia became a Zumba instructor in 2014 promoting wellness, health, and fitness. Currently, Cynthia is a Zumba instructor at (2) Anytime Fitness locations. Cynthia is employed at Brandywine Women’s Health Associates as the psychosocial counselor where she promotes self awareness, self love, and self healing to women and families.
