Bio

Who am I? I am Dale Taylor the former product of my environment. Raised in a single parent home on welfare, section 8 housing. I quit school at an early age. Experienced family violence, mental illness, and had social services take family members out my home. I have been homeless. By the time I was 12 I was involved in the criminal justice system. I did horrible things to myself and other people. My life changed oneday during a courtroom appearance when I got a second chance. Now I have the privilege of helping to change others! I have over 13 years of background working in higher education. I was member of Toastmasters International for a decade and have given thousands of presentations. I am very professional but also extremely relatable. I see the value in everyone because for a while no one saw the value in me.

  • Hearing Dale speaks is an experience you don’t want to miss! There is something in his remarkable story of resilience and grit, for everyone. He challenges stereotypes and raises the expectations for diverse youth and does that all from his own struggle. Simply stellar!

  • Dale Taylor is a dynamic speaker who reaches his audience with his authentic expression of his life experiences and the choices he has made. The paths he has walked resonate with a very broad audience. I have seen him grab the attention of groups of recalcitrant students who struggle with many of the challenges Dale endured –and surmounted. He relates to his audience—and they reciprocate that relatedness. Top notch!

  • Personable, relatable, and inspiring are the first words that come to mind when I think of Dale Taylor (DT). Dale’s journey to where he is today is remarkable. He has an approachable nature and ability to construct speeches that intertwines anecdotal stories of his own, as well as from people he has crossed paths. He will leave your listeners in awe, inspire them to take action and embark on a journey to find their own personal success.

  • Dale Taylor is a presence. Even though he stands at 6’9'', his stature can’t compete with his heart. Dale fills a room with passion and authenticity. His story is for all to hear. Not only is it tremendously inspirational, it’s relatable. Dale was able to change his trajectory and it’s crucial to know that it is possible to overcome anything. Dale is the light at the end of the tunnel, a beacon of hope.
