My name is Daphne Robert-Hamilton and I've been in the field of teaching and training for the last 20+years. Married for over 25yrs and recently lost both my Rhodesian Ridgebacks :(
Expertise in both Guns and Dogs.
I have certifications in both firearms and in dog training. My passion is to empower people with the mindset of being prepared, "Fail to Prepare-Prepare to Fail". I have presented several Safety Seminars for Real Estate agents and I am also a Certified Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor, which covers all aspects of life to improve safety including the elderly, school children and kids heading off to college.
I write monthly dog behavior & training blogs covering any and all aspects of living with a dog. I have been published in a peer journal called The Chronicle of the Dog for a piece on Sibling Rivalry. I have also been published in several dog articles in various dog magazines.
In my spare time, I volunteer to a couple of businesses/organizations all related to safety. First, the Pilchuck Foundation which provides additional leadership and funding to Granite Falls, WA local fire department, and law enforcement. And, secondly, co-teach NRA classes including Personal Protection In The Home and Personal Protection Outside The Home at the North Whidbey Sportsmen's Association.
