Bio

Biblical mindset coach, author, national speaker, worship leader, podcaster, and a recent graduate from Liberty University with an MA in Biblical Exposition, Denise is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Biblical Exposition and loves to nerd out on all things relating to the Bible, finding new ways to share God's timeless truths to apply to everyday life. She is the author of Make Up Your Mind and Shame Off You, and a contributing writer for Proverbs 31 Ministries' First 5 app and COMPEL blog. Denise’s ministry, Seeing Deep Ministries, encourages women to overcome the battles of the mind with the word of God, heal shame and find hope in God’s word. Denise is passionate about cultivating a devotional life and stopping biblical illiteracy through her two podcasts, The Bible Tribe®, a daily Bible reading plan broadcast and podcast devotion with a published journal that studies the original biblical language, applying it to today’s context, and her weekly Seeing Deep podcast. The Family Ministries and Worship Arts Director at her church, Denise and her husband live near Fredericksburg, VA. Denise homeschooled her 5 children for 23 years, 4 who recently graduated from college, and their youngest adoptive son is a senior in high school.

Shame Off You!

When sin entered the world, shame did, too. But we don't have to stay in a shame-ridden culture. Ever feel embarrassed? Shame. (Obvious). Ever feel like your voice does not matter? Shame. (Not so obvious). Ever feel judged for your personal choices? Shame. How about finances? Feel judged for what you have? Shame. And your appearance? Think you are not enough?
Shame. Or maybe it was a traumatic event that turned your life upside down and filled you with shame. Based off her book, Shame Off You, Denise leads us through the many different shades of shame in all of our lives and approaches the removal of shame through a three-pronged biblical approach.
