Currently, I'm in full-steam-ahead mode with my super course in Digital Marketing & Social Media at Dublin Business School. As part of a group project on Digital Branding for SMEs/individuals, I've focused on Personal Branding via LinkedIn. I'm loving that I've learned so much about Digital Marketing and E-Business already.
I also love training people. I get a kick out of bringing a group of people forward in their grasp of a subject or skill. I've delivered training way back and more recently in my career journey. I want to rejuvenate my training skills and present an up-to-date offering as a Trainer.
So, I'm signing up to become a QQI Certified Training Professional (CTP) by doing 2 professional-level modules with the Irish Computer Society in the New Year.
Digital-world wise, I love writing, so blogging, posts, tweets are all emerging as grist to my mill. Content creation is definitely up my street. I love following industry developments in the online world, and upskilling with tools like Hubspot.
Down the line, I see myself delivering Digital Marketing training and consulting to SMEs, alongside other softskills like crowning the customer. Added to that, I already have the skills to develop people in public speaking, presenting for business, doing PR on radio/TV for their company etc.
I absorb and acquire knowledge easily and quickly. I love communicating. Languages have always come easy to me.
I'm also an ideas person. I bring enthusiasm and encouragement to the room. I give attention to detail, and really listen to what a client/lecturer or my fellow group-members are saying.
And I retain that info. I ask questions, I like that everyone in a room is fully on board with the subject at hand, I like clarity.
