Bio

I deliver innovation, I don't do Innovation theatre. I give prescriptive how to advice for large banks & FI's that want to deliver actual results for their business units. HOW? A clear and precise method of connecting to the Fintech ecosystem that bypasses the usual pitfalls of FS innovation.

18 years of learning how to deliver innovation within the complexity of legacy banks and FIs. Today is the ideal time to drive Contextual Innovation, that is the Innovation that delivers a superior customer experience for bank customers.

A deep understanding of the myriad bank issues such as compliance and regulatory requirements. There is also an ability to work with the various business units that make up today’s modern banks in conjunction with the Innovation teams.

Acting as an advisor and previous Fintech investor allows Dion Lisle to engage deeply with a variety of Fintech startups. Focused on the future technologies that drives Fintech innovation.

Outsourced R&D - Compete with Bigtech

Bigtech firms spend billions on R&D, Amazon alone spends over $14B per year, learn how your bank with -0- R&D budget (IT doesn't count as R&D) can compete at the innovation game.

Leverage the $30+ billion per year that VC's invest in Fintech by "cherry picking" the tech solutions that fit your business needs. My process called PAID is repeatable and inexpensive to implement.

Venture Investing 101

You read the headlines, Blah.com raised $15 million to further their Fintech startup, which BTW you compete with directly.

I will take you behind the headlines to explain the venture game in layman terms, so you understand what it means and what is important and what is mere noise. Venture investing does not need to be a foreign language to you. No finance background required.

Innovating in the Age of Fintech

Your bank is a Legacy player and that means you struggle to move quickly. However, your bank has scale and reach too. I will share some methods for your firm to act more like a startup and less like a legacy player. It is not rocket science and does not require millions of dollars, there are simple things you can do NOW to help your big bank be more agile.
