Having acquired an MD degree from Russia, research experience in Israel, M.Sc. from Germany and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Switzerland I developed a strong international and multicultural mindset. My research and life experiences helped me to realize that science holds a great power to unite people of different race, culture, social-economic background, political and religious beliefs.
The strong passion to communicate science, teach and inspire others led me to winning the Swiss National Final and later qualifying to the international Final of FameLab, the World’s leading science communication competition as well as winning Science Slam Basel 2018 and Science Slam Zurich 2019.
Currently, I give talks, moderate and act as a panelist at various science communication and public outreach events as well as organize workshops and science festivals. I believe that Science belongs to everyone and it should never be boring or over-complicated. By telling scientific stories and making complex concepts fun, entertaining and easy to understand, we drive research forward, bring it to public and inspire future generations of scientists.
