Dr. Crystal Rose, MD, PhD is the driving force behind OZY’s rocket-launch into the EDU world. OZY is a 7 year old multi-media company with a platform of 75M readers, viewers, learners and listeners as well as free resources: $10,000 scholarships, paid internships and curricula. With the advent of COVID-19, she's now on a virtual tour examining the future of knowledge in education spaces around the world. Seeking to instill new guidelines to elevate news journalism, Dr. Crystal Rose works to make OZY a shining beacon in an era where academic discourse and current events should be two sides of the same coin. She is hailed as a leading voice in the field of global education and cutting edge knowledge. As the Executive Director of Academic Affairs and a Producer of ‘The Carlos Watson Show’ (fastest growing internet talk show) she is a revered influencer and respected world scholar. She is the Co-Chair of Harvard Alumni for Education and on the board of the United Nations group and founding member of the Future of Capital, helping to align resources for human sustainability and for causes of great socio-economic importance. Dr. Rose has lived and taught around the world from Africa to Europe and is an internationally respected figure at the intersection of health, equity and education. She has traveled to more than 25 countries and speaks three languages, two fluently. She is a mentor, role model and thought-leader who challenges her audience as much as she informs, equips and excites them to pursue their passions and follow their purpose. Dr. Rose has served as visiting faculty and guest lecturer at some of the most prestigious universities throughout the world, such as Stanford, Oxford, University of Heidelberg and University of Cape Town, to name a few. She’s spoken at top conferences on a bevy of topics from the World Education Summit to the ASU GSV Summit.
