About
You should choose me if you want a speaker who makes leadership and professional growth feel accessible, human, and practical, no matter someone’s title or career stage. I don’t teach abstract leadership theory. I break it down into everyday skills - communication, feedback, relationship-building, and self-awareness - that participants can use immediately at work and in life. With experience across small businesses, academia, industry, and non-profits, I understand how people skills translate across environments. I bring an authentic, down-to-earth style shaped by my agricultural background, and I’m known for keeping it real while still providing clear, tangible tools people actually use long after the session ends.
Be the Teammate You’ve Always Wanted
Have you ever had a co-worker who didn't meet your expectations or disappointed you with how they showed up for your team? Whether you're just starting in your first job or you're mid-career, there's tremendous value in being a great teammate in both your personal and professional lives. This session will help you learn how to strengthen your relationships and build your personal brand by more effectively contributing to the teams you’re on.
Giving and Receiving Feedback with Confidence
Feedback can be a scary word to those of us who have received harsh feedback or criticism at a challenging time. However, feedback is fuel for personal and professional growth. In this workshop, learn more about how to make giving and receiving feedback less intimidating and more effective through tangible steps applicable in your relationships at work and at home. Gain confidence and set yourself apart from your peers by having important conversations for everyone’s benefit, including your own.
Your Golden Ticket: Writing a Winning Résumé
Your résumé may be the first or only impression a company or person may have of you, which means it has the potential to be the gateway or “ticket” to your next professional opportunity. This session will provide you with practical tips on how to describe the value you bring to a team on paper, guide you in self-reflection about your professional experiences so far, and provide you with a recruiter’s perspective on what’s most important in a candidate résumé.
Your perspective matters!
