A second-generation Holocaust survivor, she knows what it feels like to live with transmitted trauma and has helped hundreds of clients, including descendants of Holocaust survivors as well as other genocides, forced relocations, and severe traumas, reclaim their identity and move forward with their lives.
Emily is the international bestselling author of “From Generation to Generation: Healing Intergenerational Trauma Through Storytelling” and has been featured on BBC Radio, The Huffington Post, The Forward, and Kveller, as well as numerous podcasts that focus on trauma, entrepreneurship, and Jewish issues.
A graduate of University of California at Berkeley, Emily spent nearly three decades in Silicon Valley as a corporate communications executive, working with some of the biggest names in technology.
After hearing from numerous other second-gens (2Gs) that her story was their story too, Emily decided to make healing others her legacy.
