Ericka Kelly is an accomplished consultant,
program manager, and educator with 18 years of
career experience. Ericka earned a Master of Arts
in Teaching Degree and a Bachelor of Business
Administration Degree from the University of
Louisiana at Monroe. Ericka is currently in her
final year of Doctoral Studies in Curriculum and
Instruction at the University of Louisiana at
Monroe. Ericka’s versatility and professionalism
are hallmarks of her career.
As a senior program manager for the non-profit
agency Renewal, Inc., Ericka has provided support and helped to manage over $1.4 million dollars in grant funds from various donors and agencies. She worked diligently at the grass-roots level to help individuals and families in Northeast
Louisiana to attain their dreams of owning their own businesses. As an entrepreneurship trainer and coach, she helped to create over 300 new start-ups in our
region and provided over $400,000 in grants and direct funding to those individuals. She also managed a MicroEnterprise Loan Fund, which provided low interest loans to
local entrepreneurs.
In the field of education, Ericka has over 16 years of experience working with children in various capacities. As a youth leader at the Lighthouse Church, Ericka works as a staff trainer and facilitator of youth leadership programs. While working
as an elementary school teacher for the last 8 years, Ericka aims to provide exceptional learning environments for her students. In 2017, Ericka was named the Teacher of the Year for Barkdull Faulk Elementary and received a $500 Junior
League Mini Grant for Education.
