Public speaking is a brilliant way to promote yourself and or your business, whether within the workplace or beyond. However, many people struggle with a fear around public speaking. The 'do not die machine' (the brain) tries to keep us safe, tries to dissuade us from stepping out of our comfort zone. In this session I introduce the reasons why public speaking is so valuable, the science behind the fear of public speaking, how that fear manifests and how we can overcome it. I then also explore the practices that will make you a brilliant public speaker, from preparation to body language to the tips and tricks that everyone needs to know before they step onto the stage or take to a virtual platform.
