Flor Louis is a Domestic Violence and Child Welfare Specialist for the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence (FCADV). In her role, she is responsible for the successful coordination and implementation of FCADV’s Child Protection Investigations (CPI) Project as well as FCADV’s Justice for Families (JFF) Project. As an expert in the intersection of domestic violence and child welfare, Flor serves as a resource for FCADV regional committees and oversees child advocacy related projects and events. Also, as a survivor herself, Flor understands the root causes of violence against women and children and is dedicated to changing mindsets and increasing awareness. Flor is passionate about empowering women, children, and minority communities, educating people about the dynamics of domestic violence, and advocating for social change. Flor uses an empowerment based approach to give heartfelt, no-nonsens, stigma free advice on self esteem and self worth, body image issues, healthy relationships and how to live with passion.
