In his youth, Frank had many trials and tribulations at home and in school. Physical abuse between his father and some of his peers in school was eventually remedied through martial arts and intense physical exercise. Despite failing many classes in high school and going to summer school multiple times, he later went on to go to college and earn a Bachelor and Master Degree in Accounting and work for Big 4 public accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers for 1.5 years. He was fired from that job, which he calls a "blessing in disguise" because that very same day he decide to reignite his passion for martial arts and fitness and earned his second degree black in Taekwondo. During his training for this accomplishment, his father passed away which was a very emotional time for him but it fueled even further passion for his lineage by coining the phrase "Live Legendary, Gain Greatness" a play on his last name of "Kellogg" (using the LL and the GG) This is a key point he makes in his keynote speeches.
