Frank-O artist & former songwriter for Motown now giving advice for major artists and movies studios.
He wrote and recorded his first song at the age of fourteen. A song entitled *Your Love Is Weaker Than Water*. In the Muscle Shoals, area.
He has written over 3,000 records for many great artists such as the Temptations, Commodores, Aretha Franklin, Bobby Womack, The Supremes, Ray Charles, Gwen McCrae, The Late Z.Z. Hill, Bobby Bland, The Late Little Milton, Denise LaSalle, Johnnie Taylor (Careless With Our Love) Johnnie Taylor, they became Gold Certified.
He had three songs nominated for Grammys that he wrote for Aretha Franklin, Thelma Houston, and The Temptations. Two songs were nominated at the Jackson Music Awards, Denise LaSalle *Love Talking* and Bobby Bland *Can We Make Love Tonight* on the *MEMBERS ONLY* LP, so there is no doubt the man, Mr. Frank-O Johnson, is a songwriter.
Inducted in the Alabama Hall of Fame and Reflections in Black Museum & hall of fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Frank-O studied American history in school about W.C Handy.
He had no idea one day he would be standing on the shoulders of the giant. Over a century later Frank-O says when you throw a stone in the water you never know How the Ripples flow.
In 2005, received a Motown Lifetime Achievement Award. He was also in the Billboard Disco Top 20 with *Keep On Getting Down* which is now a collector' item all over the world.
Frank-O achievement from gold records to the hall of fame around the world, he’s managed to write over 3,000 songs that been recorded. National and Internationally he's still writing. Friend Harrison Callaway director of music said: "Frank-O brains haven't even been tapped yet."
