Bio

Dr. Gautham Pallapa is the founder of Transformity, an organization that transforms humanity through empathy and technology, and an executive advisor at VMware. He works with C-suite and executives at Global 2000 enterprises in transforming their strategy, processes, technologies, culture, and people to achieve their business outcomes. Having almost succumbed to stress early in his career, he employed that wake-up call to help improve the quality of life for people working in enterprises. His mantra is "Transform with Empathy," and he works passionately to promote empathy for employees, enterprises, and communities. His book Leading with Empathy delves into these topics with valuable anecdotes, experiences, and techniques for success.

Dr. Pallapa is an Agile coach, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a SAFe Agilist, and an Ambassador for the DevOps Institute. He writes/talks/works on transformation, elevating humans, helping underprivileged people, and giving back to the community.

Addressing Cultural Antipatterns in Enterprise Transformations

Lean, Agile, and DevOps are being used as tools to drive enterprise transformations across several companies. The focus is usually on technology and less on culture as the driver to realizing their outcomes.

In this session, I present common cultural anti-patterns that I have observed while working with various enterprises and share approaches, experiments, and tips to overcome or reduce impact from these impediments, along with examples of validated learning and countermeasures.

Optimize your Agile rituals to increase productivity

In this session, I talk about what it entails to embark on a digital transformation, focusing on Lean and Agile cultures.
