During her near decade with Microsoft, Genessa produced innovative user experiences for which she has patents. She built prototypes to advance technology in the entertainment space and presented these ideas to national
and international audiences and for a variety of Microsoft executives including former CEO Bill Gates.
Genessa was the Creative Director for Seattle based Seeds of Compassion, featuring His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and musician Dave Matthews. She designed and implemented the brand and creative elements to inspire and promote compassion for 155,000 attendees and millions who tuned in digitally. She producing two benefits concerts raising 1.5 million dollars, multiple art exhibits at Seattle and Bellevue Art Museums, managed a documentary film crew, and spoke to an audience of 10,000 people engaging them in compassionate action.
Genessa has consulted with early stage startups on audience generation strategies. She is the co-founder and CEO of Revel Wolf Collective. She has spoken to Fortune 500 companies on engaging at-risk youth in storytelling, media and technology. She has taught at the University level and presented her work to audiences worldwide.
She earned her B.A. from American University, a Master’s from the Interactive Communications Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and a film and video degree from the University of Washington.
Genessa is an activist, strategist, change-maker and fire-starter. She believes whole-heartedly in inspiring people to live on-purpose and designs transformational strategies that heal through love.
