Har Kwan Luk is an accomplished photographer, digital artist and educator. She was born in San Francisco California and has since finishing high school, moved to Huston Texas. Har graduated from the University of Houston with a BFA in Photography.
There she studied under noted professors such as: Dena Headlee who taught her about light; Robert Heinecken who showed her the world of HDR imaging; Douglas White whose work on black & white photograph made Har question all that she had taken for granted before; Dorothea Olkowski-Hartung's post WWII American photography revolutionized Har’s understanding of color photographs.
Har Kwan Luk is an outdoor enthusiast who captures the world as pieces of a puzzle, which allows her audience to question their sense of perspective and reality. Her artwork has been featured in magazines like Sony Alpha Universe, DP Review and Art Of Visuals as well as Patagon Journal.
Har Kwan Luk leads multi-day workshops and expeditions, sharing her work with the audience. She releases only 10-12 images a year.
